apm communication launches an innovative Bluetooth Low Energy module, apm5283. By using the technology of 3D Interposer which applies WL-CSP solution-- nRF52832 WL-CSP chips, the form factor is only a quarter of standard package. The chip is a design for new wearable device applications particularly.

 apm 5283, brings new opportunities for wearable devices and other IoT with limited space.So far, wearable device is evolving into a gadget that is even more compact size and powerful function. Smart card with BT function, is an booming market and combines many kinds of application such as smart door lock, recognition for shopping, ticketing and mobile payment. Wearable devices include smart rings and wristband which are both strict on the size and thickness. The innovative module from apm comm. can meet these strict requirements and certainly the best choice for applications in smart watch and wristband.

apm5283 module supports up to BT5.0, transmission distance extension of 4 times, the speed increased by 2 times and the amount of broadcast data will be 8 times of the original performance of traditional Bluetooth. This improved specification will allow Wireless Beacon to provide more detailed and diverse information. In addition, also supports Mesh network , Lots of smart lighting manufacturers are using or plan to use Mesh technology to achieve the purpose of group control and unified control. In fact, the form factor of apm5283 module is only 4.5mmx3.8mmx1.41 mm, package is SBGA Balls:48 and 32-bit ARM Cortex M4 processor. They can execute protocol and application faster than other competitors do and enter sleep mode within shorter time. apm5283 with 512kB flash + 64kB RAM. Built-in provides low power consumption Bluetooth with multi-protocol, lower current, 6mA RX/TX and auto-management for inner power supply system. It will help designer with better power consumption. In development and application, we provide programmable and flexible 32 pin GPIO and support wide voltage 1.7 V to 3.6 V. It can commute with other modules via SPI/UART/PDM/ I2S.
